The 101 Technology Corridor

The Southern California region presently known as the 101 Technology Corridor (the “101 Corridor”) is uniquely positioned to capture an exploding industry segment referred to as clean energy technology. While there remains some debate about its exact boundaries, the 101 Corridor primarily encompasses an area that extends along the California 101 Freeway from Calabasas to Camarillo.

EnTech Capital has prepared an in-depth Strategic Plan (entitled the 101 Technology Corridor Revitalization Plan) for re-branding the 101 Corridor as a major clean energy cluster and explores how this could provide the impetus for significant economic growth, help to create a significant number of new jobs and businesses, and serve as a magnet for attracting greater amounts of capital to the region. The Plan examines the clean energy market and the potential it has for the economic growth and future of the 101 Corridor.

The 101 Plan will serve to thread together a unique collaboration of entrepreneurs, investors, public & private partners, colleges & universities, and regional businesses, to explore and build upon the tremendous potential that already exists in the 101 Corridor region. As such, the 101 Corridor stands to substantially benefit in a variety of ways from a technology that has been identified by many as the impetus for the word’s next great revolution—CLEAN ENERGY TECHNOLOGY.
