CAPITALIZATION
Technology based businesses require risk capital. Each commercialization stage has a corresponding stage and source of capital (see Energy Capital Lifecycle below.) EnTech intelligently blends clean energy technology investment from private and public resources for Seed, Start-up and Early-stage ventures. Its network of clean energy sponsors includes angel investors, venture capitalists, financial institutions, social investors, charitable foundations, development organizations.

EnTech’s main capitalization objective is to partner with entrepreneurs to grow clean energy companies that become respected, profitable industry leaders. EnTech’s Clean Energy Fund I, directly invests in global clean energy enterprises, primarily at the seed capital and start-up capital stages. Beyond that, it presents its investment-ready “partners” to its select network of investors (on a “first-look” basis). If a proper placement within its network is not feasible, it will then seek investment within its extended investor network.
Generally, we seek companies to work with that have annual revenues of US$2 - $25 Million (or companies that can achieve such revenues within 12 to 24 months), combined with solid prospects of attaining revenues of US$25 - $100 Million within 3-5 years. While EnTech is open to providing capitalization assistance to any qualified clean tech enterprise, it is generally focused on the following types of clean energy technologies:
